CRN’s AI Innovators list recognizes North American solution providers that advance AI adoption through innovative solutions and services. Coretek announced on November 3, 2026, that it had been included in the inaugural list.

Brian Barnes, Coretek’s chief technology officer, said that implementing AI is only one part of the task. According to the company’s statement, the practical challenge is ensuring that the technology operates securely and effectively within an organization, while maintaining visibility into its use and ensuring governance, compliance and control.

Company addresses the entire AI lifecycle

As a Microsoft Azure Expert MSP, Coretek combines Microsoft Cloud expertise with consulting, cybersecurity and managed services. The company’s AI Managed Services offering, known as AIMS, covers the entire AI lifecycle, from strategy and readiness assessments through implementation, governance, ongoing optimization and support.

According to Coretek, this approach helps identify and implement AI use cases aligned with business priorities and measurable outcomes. It also includes preparing cloud, data and security environments for enterprise AI, as well as integrating AI agents and intelligent automation into everyday business processes.

The service can include monitoring AI security, performance, compliance and responsible use. Coretek also emphasizes that continuously monitoring, managing and improving AI environments allows investments to be adapted to emerging business needs.

Coretek also uses AI in its own operations

According to the company, it also draws on experience from its own operations to inform this approach. Coretek operates 24 AI agents in production across eight departments. The company uses them to gain practical experience with enterprise adoption, governance, security and performance.

Coretek says these AI agents deliver measurable operational efficiency while also shaping the strategies and services the company provides to clients. The CRN recognition follows another industry accolade: Coretek was also included in CRN’s 2026 MSP 500 list.

For clients, the news indicates that Coretek treats AI adoption as a service extending beyond technology deployment. The company’s stated goal is to securely deploy, govern, manage and optimize AI at scale, building on Microsoft technologies.
