Darkforce’s cybersecurity platform receives Awardable designation

Darkforce’s cyber and artificial intelligence security platform has received Awardable status on the US Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. The designation could offer government customers at the Department of War a faster evaluation and procurement path.
- Darkforce’s platform has received Awardable status on the CDAO Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
- The marketplace accelerates DoW procurement of AI, machine learning, digital and data technologies.
- Darkforce aims to govern the execution of protected operations with quantum-resistant cryptography.
- The platform, according to the company, also offers ransomware resilience and data protection.
- Darkforce is pursuing FedRAMP High authorization in cooperation with Knox Systems.
Platform added to the Tradewinds marketplace
Darkforce, the US federal subsidiary of Darkstrike, said on November 3 that its platform had received Awardable status on the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office, or CDAO, Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace.
The marketplace is designed to accelerate the procurement and deployment of capabilities related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital technologies and data across the Department of War, or DoW. Darkforce said it was recognized among bidders whose solutions demonstrated innovation, scalability and potential impact on national security missions.
The system is designed to govern execution
The company said machine-speed cyberattacks and artificial intelligence are creating a situation in which users, applications, systems and AI agents considered trustworthy can also initiate actions that should not take place.
Beyond methods based on access control, policy engines and defenses that detect and respond to attacks, Darkforce’s approach monitors execution itself. According to the company, the platform uses quantum-resistant cryptography to determine whether a protected operation can exist and whether it can be executed.
The system offers general-purpose execution control, regardless of whether an operation is initiated by artificial intelligence, a human, an application or a system. Darkforce said its actor-agnostic architecture cryptographically governs operations initiated by internal or external attackers, AI agents, large language models, users, applications and systems.
Ransomware protection and government procurement
Darkforce’s data protection platform, the company claims, makes systems more resilient to ransomware and renders stolen data unusable. The company relies on a patent portfolio and links its operations to former senior White House cybersecurity officials. Darkforce is working with Knox Systems to pursue FedRAMP High authorization.
David Granzotti, founder and CEO of Darkforce, said every cyber or AI threat ultimately becomes an attempt to execute an operation, making execution the final point of control. He said that instead of reacting after an attack or waiting for an unauthorized AI operation, the company’s approach governs whether the attack or operation can exist at all and whether it can be executed.
The Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace is a competitive digital repository that collects Awardable solution videos addressing the DoW’s artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital and data analytics challenges. According to the source, the videos were evaluated using complex assessment criteria and competitive procedures, while government customers can access them with a TSM account. For Darkforce, this means its solution has joined the technologies that DoW customers can evaluate and procure.
