GSC launches Agentic Shopping Hub for FMCG brands

November 4, 2026, 01:37Source: PR Newswire

GreenCore Solutions Corp. has launched an Agentic Shopping Hub for brands producing fast-moving consumer goods. The company says the system enables brands' own AI agents to become discoverable, verifiable and transaction-capable in the grocery retail market.

Key points
  • GSC has launched the Agentic Shopping Hub for FMCG brands.
  • A2A-Grocery.ai covers 20 markets, 1.97 million points of sale and 8619 retail brands.
  • gtinfetch.ai has verified 84 million barcodes, according to the statement.
  • The hub connects brands' and shoppers' AI agents through MCP.
  • Brands can join at a2a-grocery.ai.

Agents handle search and purchasing

GreenCore Solutions Corp. (GSC) announced the Agentic Shopping Hub on November 3. According to the company's statement, FMCG brands' own agents can appear on A2A-Grocery.ai, where AI-powered shopping agents can find them.

GSC says search and e-commerce purchasing were previously two separate processes divided by a single click. Under the new model, a shopper's agent searches, selects and orders in a single operation. This makes it important for brands to ensure that their own agents are discoverable and verifiable by retailers.

According to the statement, A2A-Grocery.ai covers 20 markets, 1.97 million points of sale and 8619 retail brands. In each market, a brand can determine what its agents list, what claims they make, what prices they apply and what they sell. The hub checks every order against these settings.

Barcode verification before every order

The service uses GSC's gtinfetch.ai system as a security feature. The company describes it as a GTIN resolver for AI agents that serves as a second verification factor for every order. According to the statement, 84 million barcodes had been verified before any funds changed hands.

GSC refers to this process as “Know your transactions”, or KYT. A single record provides an answer for both the shopper's assistant and the merchant's agent. The company defines the hub's four core elements as discoverability, traffic management, security and transactions.

x402 is also available to FMCG brands, according to the statement. It enables agents to settle transactions within the same call. GSC says this allows brands to go to market faster than if they built the infrastructure required to connect AI agents independently.

GSC says AI-powered shopping is already under way

The statement also cites Walmart's October 21 announcement as a sign of the change. According to GSC, the company, described as the world's largest retailer, introduced an Agent Profiles feature, Walmart Agent Gateway and terms covering AI agents. Approved agents can search inventory and shop on a customer's behalf through the Model Context Protocol, within spending limits set by the customer.

GSC says leading grocery retailers in France, Germany, the Czech Republic, India, Singapore and Korea have also made their offerings available in a similar way. The company's A2A-Grocery.ai hub is already listed in the Official MCP Registry and Microsoft Azure API Center, and agents are already reading it.

According to data cited in the statement, the share of AI-powered shopping in the United States rose to 37 percent in the third quarter of 2026, with the grocery category leading at 32 percent. GSC says 81 percent of US consumers and 53 percent of European consumers expect to use AI agents when shopping.

FMCG brands can join at a2a-grocery.ai. Agents can connect through the mcp.gtinfetch.ai and mcp.a2a-grocery.ai endpoints. According to the company's CEO, Matthew Keddy, brands' own agents may not be discoverable or secure for retailers at scale on their own. GSC says the hub addresses this problem with a mediation layer designed specifically for grocery retail use.
