Orders will open on November 15, 2026. The company plans to ship the first batches of eligible early reservations from November 25. The release did not disclose the system's price.
The ZY-Q5 pairs a base station with outdoor cameras supported by solar charging. The system is designed to let households monitor multiple areas of their property from a single app, including entrances, gardens and driveways.
Multiple camera feeds can appear on one screen
The ieGeek Cam app displays live feeds from multiple cameras on a single screen, allowing users to check all areas connected to the system at once. The base station supports up to eight devices and accepts microSD cards with a capacity of up to 512 gigabytes for local video recording.
According to the release, local storage means that users do not need a monthly subscription to save footage. Instead of remote server storage, the company highlights the storage available on the base station as one of the system's features.
The 5-megapixel cameras offer colour night vision. Artificial intelligence-based detection and automatic tracking help monitor activity around residential properties. Users can set detection zones and monitoring schedules, receive motion alerts and talk to visitors through two-way audio.
Solar charging support and Black Friday promotion
According to the manufacturer, solar charging support can reduce the need to manually recharge the cameras. The devices, designed for outdoor use, have an IP65 weather-resistance rating.
Alongside the ZY-Q5 reservation campaign, ieGeek is also launching a Black Friday event in the UK and Europe. The company has announced discounts of up to 60 per cent on selected products. Featured models include the S5 solar security camera and the S11 4G LTE camera.
VIP early access runs from November 8 to 11, while the main promotion will be available from November 12 to December 4. Regional offers and terms are available on the UK and European Black Friday websites.
According to ieGeek, the brand has been developing and manufacturing home security products, including cameras, video doorbells and baby monitors, since 2016. The company says it has sold more than 3.81 million products in over 80 countries. The ZY-Q5 combines local recording, multi-camera viewing and outdoor monitoring in a single system for customers in Europe and the UK.
