$350,000 in annual cloud credits

Vultr announced its partnership with Polaris School of Technology on November 3, 2026. The partnership aims to make it easier for students and startups in India to access the cloud-based resources they need to develop, test and run applications.

The company will provide $350,000 worth of cloud credits annually for four years. Of that amount, $150,000 will go to students each year, while startups will receive $200,000. The initiative aims to support at least 130 students and 10 startups annually.

Testing real-world applications and technologies

The program could give students at Polaris School of Technology practical experience building and deploying applications. According to Vultr, participants will be able to experiment with real-world workloads, explore emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and develop their engineering skills.

The partnership aims to narrow the gap between learning and building in practice. Students will be able to test their ideas in an environment where they develop and deploy applications while gaining hands-on experience using cloud infrastructure.

Helping startups build prototypes and reach the market

Startups can use the credits to validate their ideas, create prototypes and develop products. According to Vultr, the resources will also enable them to experiment with emerging technologies and scale their products.

The support could also help startups manage infrastructure costs during the early stages of development. The company said this will allow them to focus on developing and bringing their products to market while accessing the cloud resources they need.

Vultr aims to build India's developer ecosystem

Vultr describes the partnership as another step in its commitment to India's growing developer ecosystem. By working with educational institutions and emerging businesses, the company wants to make cloud infrastructure more accessible.

The initiative directly targets students at Polaris School of Technology and the startups participating in the program. According to the announcement, the support will provide resources to two groups: students seeking practical development experience, and startups testing ideas and developing their products.
