UCB chooses Veeva’s agentic CRM platform
Veeva Systems said on Nov. 4, 2026, that UCB has committed to Vault CRM, which Veeva describes as an agentic engagement platform for life sciences. The announcement identifies the platform as the technology foundation UCB plans to use to support its commercial execution and customer engagement activities.
UCB’s selection also strengthens an existing relationship between the companies, according to Edwin Erckens, chief digital technology officer at UCB. “We are excited to strengthen our strategic partnership with Veeva by moving to Vault CRM,” Erckens said in the announcement. He added that the companies share “a deep commitment to customer success” and that Vault CRM would provide UCB with the technology foundation to drive commercial execution.
Platform includes life sciences AI and call reporting
Veeva says Vault CRM provides industry-specific AI intended to accelerate launches and support better customer experiences. The platform is part of Vault CRM Suite, which Veeva calls the technology foundation for agentic commercial.
One feature highlighted in the announcement is the Agentic Call Report. According to Veeva, it creates Commercial Evidence that can uncover previously hidden treatment barriers. The release does not provide further details about UCB’s implementation plans, deployment timing, or the specific products and teams that will use the system.
Chris Moore, president of Veeva Europe, described Vault CRM as “the customer engagement platform that will provide UCB with a stable, scalable, and future-ready technology foundation that will advance UCB’s commercial strategy.” Moore said Veeva would work with UCB to support that mission.
What the agreement means for the companies
For UCB, the commitment places Vault CRM at the center of its stated effort to build a technology foundation for commercial execution. The company’s announcement focuses on customer success, unified engagement, and the use of platform capabilities to identify treatment barriers, while leaving the practical scope of the rollout unspecified.
For Veeva, the agreement adds UCB to the customer base for its life sciences software and supports the company’s positioning of Vault CRM as an agentic platform for commercial engagement. Veeva says it serves more than 1,500 customers, ranging from the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies to emerging biotechs.
Veeva also cautions that statements about expected results or benefits from its products and services are forward-looking, and that actual results could differ materially. The company says those statements are based on its current expectations and that it has no obligation to update them.
